It gets its key components straight out of the mighty KX450F motocrosser and adapts them for off-road racing. The KX450F's high powered, lightweight 4-stroke engine has been tweaked for more low-end torque and is mated to a special wide-ratio 5-speed transmission. Plus it comes with an electric starter.
The lightweight all-aluminium chassis is balanced to provide both quick turning and light handling over a variety of terrain. The high-spec AOS inverted fork and superb rear suspension from the KX450F have been tuned for off-road competition and to minimise rider fatigue over long distances.

Kawasaki KX450F Motocross
THE KX450F, 2007 AUSTRALIAN SX AND MX
CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING MOTORCYCLE IS NOW EVEN FASTER...
Kawasaki has enhanced the dynamic
excellence of its Australian and World Championships winning KX450F motocross
machine, with a host of refinements, increasing its domination over the
competition on both Australian and World Platforms.
The KX450F continues to offer the dominating power which carved up the
competition in 2007, with further bottom end and midrange thrust enhancements
for even quicker acceleration from the start line and stronger drive out of
corners. Improved engine tuning, coupled with a new lighter chassis for
maneuverability and 5 speed transmission, increase the rider’s on the track
opportunities.
Boasting improved rear wheel traction and enhanced flickability, class leading
horsepower, incredible suspension, precise handling and a host of factory style
‘trick bits’ as standard, the KX450F puts you in the hot seat to play with the
big boys !
Stonking Engine
The KX’s 449cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke single delivers hard-hitting power from
mid- to high-rpm. Featuring hand-polished intake ports, lightweight titanium
valves with double valve springs and a low-friction coating on the piston skirt,
the engine produces a wide spread of power extending far into the over-rev.
Maximum Traction
The composite structure, all-aluminium perimeter frame’s key dimensions (swingarm
pivot, output sprocket and rear axle) were designed to locate the centre of
gravity in the optimum position to minimise squat and maximise rear wheel
traction.
Awesome Suspension
Kayaba AOS forks hold air and oil in separate chambers for stable damping
performance during long motos while low-friction seals contribute to the forks’
smooth action. The UNI-TRAK® rear suspension system utilises a tapered aluminium
swingarm and linkage ratios designed to maximize traction under acceleration.
Big Stopping Power
Front and rear petal disc brakes provide strong, controlled stopping power along
with excellent feedback and feel. Their petal-shape design helps reduce unsprung
weight and keep the brake pads clean from mud and debris for more efficient
braking performance.
Slick Ergonomics
The KX450F's re-engineered aluminum frame is wider at the rider’s ankles, for
better grip and narrower around the seat for a slim riding position and enhanced
maneuverability. Modifications to the main frame spars reduce torsional rigidity
for quicker turning and lighter steering. The KX450F’s new careful design feels
lighter and more agile beneath the rider.
Factory Trick Bits
For better drive coming out of corners and quicker acceleration off the mark
enabling riders to get on the gas and go, a revised silencer and tapered exhaust
offers low rpm response and ultra low end torque. Tuned for high performance,
the engine offers hard hitting power across the rev range.
Aggressive New Style
Aggressive new styling reflects the Kawasaki motocross ethos as bold graphic
artwork compliments the synonymous Lime Green paintwork. A new colour surface
treatment on wheel hubs and engine covers add to the audacious motorcycles
appearance.
GO FASTER FOR LONGER
For instant power off the start and ultimate acceleration out of corners, a new
5 speed transmission offers riders the freedom of gear selection and greater
stability at higher speeds. This reduces rider fatigue, so you can go faster for
longer!
Easy Starting
The KX’s auto-decompression system is highly reliable and enables easy starting
with minimal effort. And, for fast reliable starting when the engine is warm,
the KX features a hot-start system operated by a handlebar-mounted lever.
Titanium Exhaust
The KX’s tapered all-titanium exhaust pipe expands in diameter from 38mm to 41mm
to improve both low and high-rpm performance. In the interest of weight saving,
the heat shield is constructed from titanium also.

Kawasaki KX250F Motocross Quarter Litre Flyer
Kawasaki is committed to ensuring you maintain that winning edge in 2007 by making further enhancements to the KX250F’s race orientated chasis and engine package, improving power and performance right across the rev range.
Refinements to the KX250F make it an even more potent track weapon. Designed for mid to high level riders who are serious about racing, the KX250F receives fine tuning to both the engine and chasis to keep it ahead of the pack.
The powerful 4 stroke engine has been further developed in 2007 offering riders higher performance, increasing its low end torque while maintaining the hard hitting mid and high rpm. Chasis refinements mean the KX250F is both quicker to turn and lighter to maneuver, giving riders that dirt shredding edge over rivals on the track.
BUILT FOR PERFORMANCE The powerful 249cm3 liquid cooled 4 stroke engine is tuned for high performance, with the wide powerband extending way into the over rev. Refined tuning increase low end torque while maintaining the hard hitting mid and high rpm power. Improved piston and intake valves, polished intake ports, improved carburettor settings and ignition timing all make for greater response and a wider powerband.
GO FASTER FOR LONGER For instant power and ultimate acceleration, the original 5 speed transmission is now all new with thicker gears, offering increased durability and reliability.
SLEEK IN DESIGN Kawasaki has fine tuned the frames rigidity balance along with new front and rear suspension, resulting in a nimbler package. The clever, slender design gives the KX250F trim and smooth lines. Keeping it narrow makes it easier for you to stay in control no matter how tough it may get.
WHEN CONSISTENCY COUNTS A new 20mm right side radiator maintains optimum performance through long, tough races allowing the KX250F to endure race long, reliable, consistent power.
BRAKING RELIABILITY Works style front and rear petal disc brakes offer consistent braking performance by helping to keep the brake pads clean of dirt and debris. With improved braking reliability, added confidence to tear up the track is inevitable.
STRONGER, LIGHTER MORE ABSORBANT The rear shock absorbers dual compression adjustability offers a wide range of tuning options. A new main spring and revised valves contribute to the superior suspension action.
Factory Trick Bits The KX250F comes dripping with factory-style extras such as titanium foot pegs and brackets, plus titanium exhaust pipe and heat shields for maximum weight reduction. Works-style aluminium skid plate, factory-look triple clamps and Renthal handlebars also come as standard.
Weight Saving To keep weight to an absolute minimum the KX250F utilizes aluminium instead of steel for several components including the clutch cable elbow, clutch cable fitting nuts, fuel tank fitting nuts, seat mounting brackets, front brake hose clamp and igniter stay bracket.

Potent Package
With larger wheels and greater ground clearance than the standard KX85, the
KX85-II is the perfect machine for young teenagers not quite ready for a
full-size MXer.
Featuring the same technologically advanced perimeter frame, potent 2-stroke
engine and long travel, fully adjustable suspension as its small-wheeled
brother, the KX85-II is a mini-powerhouse with the race-winning speed and
performance that championships are made of.
Oversize Wheels
The KX85-II’s large 19” front wheel (17” on KX85) and 17” rear wheel (14” on
KX85) give it greater obstacle roll-over ability, extra ground clearance and a
higher seat height for the taller rider.

Kawasaki KX65 Motocross
Champions Start Here
The starting point for many of today’s Supercross and Motocross champions, the
KX65 is the perfect breeding ground for aspiring young riders. With its
liquid-cooled, high-performance two-stroke engine, full-race chassis,
long-travel suspension and powerful disc brakes, the smallest KX model offers
race-ready performance combined with the well-rounded usability necessary for
young riders to learn race-craft and hone their skills.
Potent Engine
The heart of the littlest KX is its punchy, 64cc liquid cooled 2-stroke
powerplant. The race-tuned engine, featuring a digital ignition and low-friction
Electrofusion coated cylinder, produces a broad range of strong, usable power.
Liquid Cooling
The KX’s large, single radiator maintains even engine-running temperatures for
optimum horsepower output and greater engine life and durability. The system is
extremely low maintenance and highly reliable.
UNI-TRAK® Rear Suspension
The KX65’s UNI-TRAK® rear suspension system features a rising-rate action that
increases the damping strength as the suspension compresses. The
nitrogen-charged shock offers 4-way rebound damping adjustability.
6-Speed Transmission
The KX’s smooth-shifting six-speed transmission offers a positive shifting
action along with rugged durability thanks to hard chromed shift forks. The
clutch is operated manually by hand for maximum control and performance.
Front and Rear Disc Brakes
A high-performance engine needs high-performance stopping power and the KX65’s
mighty front and rear disc brakes deliver powerful braking performance and high
resistance to fade. A re-designed front brake lever now also offers even better
feel.
High-Tensile Steel Frame
The high-tensile steel frame is constructed from the same strong, lightweight,
high-tech materials as the bigger KX Motocross bikes to offer exceptional
torsional rigidity for superior handling.
